Questions

When I look into the night sky

I see all the white stars that

Brighten all my nights up.

When I look into the night sky

I wonder how it would feel to be

Put there, are there people living

On the planets?

I wish I could throw myself

Off the edge of space so I

Could feel free for once in my life.

The planets for me mean a

Different world, a confusion for me

That I would never

Understand or would I?

I have so many questions

And confusions that I hope one day

I would get the answers to.

{November 7, 2012}   30 Poems in November: Poem # 8

Is it a Question or is it an Answer Instead?

Is it a question if it’s critical?

Or is it an answer just said hypothetical?

Is it a question if there’s no answer behind it?

Or is it an answer but the question is blinded?

Is it a question where you’re stuck and confused?

Or is it an answer that sings like a muse?

One question here,

Or an answer there,

For instance, are you alone?

If so there’s

No one there,

Do you like black, red, or brunette hair?

Or do this one last time, then we’ll be fair.

So,

Is it a quote?

Or an expression we dread?

Is it a question?

Or an answer instead?

Everything swimming around in my head

As if my dreams were the water

That filled my ocean bed.
